1. Introduction

This policy explains how Refractnest ("the Service") collects, uses and protects your data. This page is demo template content for demonstration only. The actual demo is session-only with no database and writes none of your data to persistent storage.

2. Data We Collect

In production we may collect: account identifiers (e.g. email), API usage records (channel, Prisms consumed, time), billing and top-up records, and technical logs needed for operations (e.g. IP, browser info). In the demo stage, only login state is temporarily held in the browser session and disappears when closed.

3. How We Use Data

To provide and operate the service, compute usage and billing, prevent abuse and ensure security, improve the product experience, and contact you within the scope you consent to or the law requires. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the above.

4. Third-Party AI Services

When you call a third-party AI through the Service, your request content (e.g. the prompt) is sent to the corresponding vendor to complete generation. Processing of such content is also bound by each vendor's privacy policy. The Service only passes the information necessary to complete dispatch.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The Service uses essential cookies / session to maintain login state and security. In the demo stage only PHP session is used; no tracking or advertising cookies are served.

6. Data Sharing

Except as necessary to deliver the service (e.g. the third-party AI vendors and payment processing above), with your consent, or as required by law, we do not sell or disclose your personal data.

7. Data Retention & Security

In production we retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection, and protect it with reasonable technical and managerial measures. In the demo stage no data is retained and the session is cleared when it ends.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, leave a message on the "Contact Us" page or email support@refractnest.dev.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not designed for minors below the legal age; if you are under the local legal age, please do not provide personal data.

10. Changes to This Policy

The Service may update this policy at any time and post it on this page. Material changes will be notified within reason; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
